Mahamantram

Mahamantram

Dwaya mantram is most important and is called Mandra Ratnam. Dwaya Mantra gives Moksha itself. This wonderful Mantram is “Sriman Narayana Charanow Saranam Prapathiye Srimathae Narayana Namaha” This is a Mahamantram. The meaning is that Mahavishnu is the ultimate. And not only that he himself is the Upaya as well as Upeya. Lakshmi Hayagriva is very much a Gnanamoorthi. Yet another important aspect. We have got many idols like Lakshmi Narasimhar, Lakshmi Varaha swami, Lakshmi narayanana, Lakshmi Hayagriva. Out of these, Lakshmi Hayagriva is important because Hayagrivas Avatara itself has been made by him only for “Nvirthi dharmam”. It means one who wants to get rid of this useless world, a world full of miseries and nothing else, he may contemplate on Hayagriva. So, one wants to leave away his miseries and go to a place where there is constant happiness i.e. only Srivaiguntam, the God you shall contemplate on is Lakshmi Hayagriva. Lakshmi Hayagriva is sitting in the posture of Lakshmi on his lap as Dwaya Dhyana moorthy. This is a very place you have to visit, if we want Moksha. But people should not think, just because he is Moksha Dayaka, he has come down to earth to complete Nivarthi only
